San Taddeo, apostolo Santi Bassa, Teognio, Agapio e Pisto, martiri Bassa viveva ad Edessa, una città della Macedonia ed era la moglie di un certo Valeriano, un sacerdote pagano. Ebbe tre figli: Teognide, Agapio e Pistus, che fece crescere nella fede cristiana. Insieme ai figli fu tradita dal marito che li denunciò come cristiani al proconsole locale.
