Der hl. Galaktion war Christ und auf Wunsch seiner Eltern verlobt mit einer Heidin - Episteme. Nachdem er sie zum christlichen Glauben bekehrte, überredete er Sie auch, ein jungfräuliches Leben zu führen. Er selbst lebte mit den Mönchen auf dem Berg Publion (am Sinai). Bei der Christenverfolgung unter Kaiser Dekios wurde Galaktion in Emessa (in Phönikien) ergriffen. Seine Gemahlin Episteme gesellte sich freiwillig zu ihrem Mann, und teilte seine Quallen mit ihm. Beide wurden mit dem Schwert enthauptet, im Jahre 253.

- To do the annual calendar, display showing the liturgical readings per week
- To supplement existing content
- To do a completely new approach with banners and a small calendars for other sites,
- To do good application for desktop computers ...
