წმიდა მოწამე ევტროპია ალექსანდრიაში აღესრულა დაახლოებით 250 წელს. იგი ხშირად ნახულობდა პყრობილ ქრისტიანებს და სატანჯველების დათმენისაკენ მოუწოდებდა. ამისთვის ისიც შეიპყრეს და სამსჯავროზე წარადგინეს. ნეტარმა უღმრთო მსაჯულის წინაშე მტკიცედ აღიარა ქრისტე, რისთვისაც სასტიკი სატანჯვე-ლებით ამოჰხადეს სული.
