ღირსი პლატონი (+814) - დაიბადა 735 წელს ღვთისმოსავ ქრისტიანთა, სერგისა და ეფემიას ოჯახში. ადრე დაობლებული ყმაწვილი ნათესავებმა აღზარდეს და კარგი განათლება მისცეს. სრულწლოვანებას მიღწეულმა პლატონმა დამოუკიდებელი ცხოვრება დაიწყო. მან თავიდან მემკვიდრეობით მიღებული მამულის მოვლას მიჰყო ხელი და თავისი შრომისმოყვარეობის წყალობით დიდძალი ქონება დააგროვა, შემდეგ კი ქრისტეს სიყვარულით ანთებულმა მთელი ქონება ღარიბ-ღატაკებს დაურიგა, მონები გაანთავისუფლა და მონასტერში განმარტოვდა.
