წმიდა ერმოგენი, მოსკოვისა და სრულიად რუსეთის პატრიარქი მოწამეობრივად აღესრულა 1612 წელს. რუსეთის ეკლესიის უწმიდესმა სინოდმა 1913 წლის 12 მაისს წმიდანად შერაცხა ნეტარი მამა და დაადგინა მისი მოსახსენებელი დღეებიც: 17 თებერვალი - მიცვალება (ცნობები წმიდა ერმოგენის ცხოვრებისა და მოღვაწეობის შესახებ ამ დღის საკითხავშია ჩართული) და 12 მაისი - კანონიზაციის დღე.
