Οι Άγιοι αυτοί παρουσιάστηκαν αυθόρμητα στον άρχοντα της χώρας τους και του έκαναν δριμύτατη παρατήρηση για τίς απάνθρωπες ενέργειες του κατά των χριστιανών. Κατόπιν συνέτριψαν τους βωμούς των ειδώλων και προκάλεσαν τον θυμό των ειδωλολατρών, με αποτέλεσμα να τους επιτεθούν με πέτρες και ρόπαλα και να τους σκοτώσουν όλους. Τα δε λείψανα τους, τα παρέλαβαν οι Χριστιανοί, τα έθαψαν με τιμές και επάνω σ' αυτά ανήγειραν ναό. Η δε σύναξη τους τελείται στο αποστολείο του Ιακώβου Αδελφοθέου, που βρίσκεται μέσα στον σεβάσμιο οίκο της υπεραγίας Θεοτόκου στους Χαλκοπρατείους.
