Acestia au luat mucenicia pentru sfînta credinta ortodoxa din mîinile ereticilor arieni, în vremea domniei regelui vandal Gunerik sau Gezerik (477-484). Doi sfintiti parinti au fost arsi de vii iar altora saizeci li s-au taiat limbile, în afara de aceasta, au fost decapitati trei sute de crestini ortodocsi mireni. Ei cu adevarat au fost omorîti si torturati cu totii pentru Credinta, dar jertfa lor a întarit Ortodoxia Credintei Crestine si a lasat-o mostenire urmasilor curata si fara pata. Domnul Dumnezeu i-a încununat pe mucenicii Lui acestia cu cununile vesnicei slave întru Nemuritoarea Lui împaratie.
